Inspired by Nature: The Story Behind the Bark Collection

Nature has always been the greatest designer.
At Croft, we believe the smallest details have the greatest impact. Every touchpoint within an interior should feel intentional, adding depth, character and a tactile connection to the spaces we inhabit. Bark was born from that philosophy, it’s a collection that transforms one of nature's most recognisable textures into finely crafted architectural hardware.
The Evolution of Bark
Rather than simply recreating the appearance of bark, our designers set out to capture its essence. The depth, rhythm and organic irregularity of tree bark became the starting point for a collection that feels both sculptural and instinctively familiar. Softly carved grooves invite touch, encouraging moments of interaction that connect us back to the nature.
To achieve a pattern that feels authentically organic, the surface texture is generated from a sequence based on prime numbers, before being tessellated seamlessly around each product.
Crafted from solid brass and available in more than twenty luxury Finishes and Patinas, the collection includes a Cabinet T-Bar, Cabinet Handle, Appliance Pull, Bathroom Turn & Release and Door Lever. Creating a cohesive design language that flows seamlessly throughout residential and commercial interiors alike.
Its beauty isn't found in perfection, but in variation. In the grain of timber, the ripple of stone, the weathering of metal and the deeply textured surface of tree bark. These natural patterns have evolved over centuries, shaped by time rather than trends. It's this gradual complexity that inspired the Bark Collection.
