Designing with Depth - Our New Finishes

Explore our five new finishes, each crafted to bring greater depth and character to our Finishes and Patinas collection.

Developed to work both individually and as part of a wider palette, each finish offers a different way to approach tone, texture and contrast. From soft bronze tones to deeper carbon finishes, each one will enhance your overall design vision.

English Bronze
(EB)

English Bronze reflects a softer, more transitional expression of colour. It’s warm, golden tone carries gentle depth, with a refined brushed texture that subtly catches the light.

This finish sits naturally amongst earthy tones and patterned textures. Paired with muted greens and soft neutral colours it creates a palette that feels calming and inviting.

As golden tones and brass accents remain largely popular, the shift towards warmer metallic finishes brings English Bronze firmly into focus. Making it work best in interiors where balance matters. From handcrafted kitchens to well detailed joinery, or spaces that mix classic details with a more relaxed, contemporary feel.

As it’s lacquered, it holds onto that warmth and consistency over time, making it a reliable choice when you’re building a design scheme that needs to last.

Deep English Bronze
(DEB)

Deep English Bronze is all about contrast. Its deeper, rich tone and subtle golden hues add character to a space instantly.

Working best against lighter materials, the darker tone stands out against pale woods, soft stone and chalky neutrals, creating a more defined, layered look.

This makes it particularly well suited to kitchens and joinery. Set against lighter cabinetry or natural surfaces, it adds structure and presence, helping to ground your overall design without overpowering it.

Finished with a protective lacquer, it holds onto its warmth over time, offering a consistent contrast that continues to add definition as the space evolves.

Carbon
(CN)

Carbon brings a deeper, more expressive contemporary layer to your space. Its darker bronze tone, paired with exposed brass edges, creates a natural contrast that feels considered but not overly refined.

It works particularly well in transitional and modern interiors that embrace colour and pattern. Warm terracotta’s, and soft pinks sit comfortably alongside it, while decorative tiles and layered textiles give it something to interact with. The exposed brass detailing introduces subtle highlights breaking up the darker tone whilst adding a beautiful layer of detail to the hardware.

Unlacquered and finished with beeswax, it’s designed to evolve with use, developing a natural patina over time. It works especially well in interiors full of character, where a softer, more lived-in feel is part of the design.

Midnight Carbon
(MCN)

Midnight Carbon offers a more simplistic and refined take on the dark bronze finishes. With a smooth, hand-applied surface and a consistent tone throughout.

There’s a softness to the finish despite its darker tone, making it perfect for spaces that aim for a more minimal, considered feel. It doesn’t rely on contrast or decoration, instead it brings a sense of balance and understated luxury.

As Midnight Carbon is a living finish, this makes it ideal for interiors that embrace the natural patina overtime. Explore Finish

Distressed Carbon
(DCN)

Distressed Carbon brings a more time-worn, tactile quality to a space. Its dark bronze tone is softened by gently relieved edges that reveal the solid brass beneath, while a subtle distressed effect gives it an immediate sense of character.

Fitting seamlessly in interiors that embrace imperfection and layered detail. Materials such as natural woods and aged stone all sit comfortably alongside it, creating a lived-in atmosphere. The subtle variations in its distressed surface add a unique depth to every product it’s applied to. Unlacquered and finished with a light coating of beeswax, Distressed Carbon will continue evolving over time.Explore Finish

Together, these finishes offer a versatile palette that can be used across a variety of spaces, whether you’re looking to introduce warmth, contrast or a more tactile, aged quality.
